My Offerings For Read An eBook Week!

Greetings all travelers from near and far who’ve journeyed to my little corner of the galaxy.

Have a nice hot cup of tea and settle in for a while. Chocolate, anyone?  I prefer mine dark with a touch of sea salt.

Ah yes, the purpose of my post.  As an author of historical & Light paranormal romance, and nonfiction, I have a variety of offerings.  ‘Tis true, I’m giving away ebooks of Somewhere My Love and Somewhere My Lass (pdf or kindle, winner’s choice) to some lucky visitor who leaves me a comment.  If I get many comments, I’ll give away more copies.  *Note, Beth is partial to raving comments.

***ALSO, my recent historical romance SHORT, The Lady and the Warrior, is FREE at Amazon the 4th–8th, as well as my nonfiction book about gardening and country life, Shenandoah Watercolors, a 2012 EPPIC eBOOK FINALIST.   I self-published these two titles.  The Wild Rose Press published all my other books, a fine company with stellar editors.   I’m a fan.

*** Somewhere My Love is FREE at the Wild Rose Press March 7th! The novel will remain at a permanently reduced price after that.

Onto my giveaways for Read An Ebook Week March 4-10!

Blurb for SOMEWHERE MY LOVE:

Star-crossed lovers have a rare chance to reclaim the love cruelly denied them in the past, but can they grasp this brief window in time before it is too late? Newly arrived at Foxleigh, the gracious old Wentworth home in Virginia, British born Julia Morrow is excited at the prospect of a summer working as a guide in the stately house and herb garden. She quickly discovers the historic plantation holds far more. She becomes obsessed with the portrait of handsome Cole Wentworth, killed in a quarrel over the lovely English lady, Julia Maury, two hundred years ago. Then she meets his double, William, the only remaining Wentworth heir. Somehow, Julia must persuade Will that their fates are entwined with those of Cole Wentworth and Julia Maury, and that the man who killed his ancestor has returned to enact the deadly cycle again, or she will lose him twice. The blade is about to fall.~

“Wow, A Two Hundred Year Old Murder That Kept Two Lovers Apart, A Revenge, A Shakespearean Mangled Play With Julia Instinctively Knowing About Cole And William, Thoughts That She Was Mad Create The Perfect “Who Done It” That You Never Will Guess! Somewhere My Love Is A MUST Read!” ~Reviewer Linda Bass

Blurb for SOMEWHERE MY LASS:

Neil MacKenzie’s well-ordered life turns to chaos when Mora Campbell shows up claiming he’s her fiancé from 1602 Scotland. Her avowal that she was chased to the future by clan chieftain, Red MacDonald, is utter nonsense, and Neil must convince her that she is just addled from a blow to her head–or so he believes until the MacDonald himself shows up wanting blood.

Mora knows the Neil of the future is truly her beloved Niall who disappeared from the past. Although her kinsmen believe he’s dead, and she is now destined to marry Niall’s brother, she’s convinced that if she and Neil return to the past, all will be right. The only problem is how to get back to 1602 before it’s too late.

The balance of the present and future are in peril if she marries another, and the Neil of the present will cease to exist. An ancient relic and a few good friends in the future help pave the way back to the past, but will Mora and Neil be too late to save a love that began centuries before?~

“I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Surely romance lovers will find it a wonderful way to spend the weekend! Highly recommended!” ~GABixlerReviews

Many thanks to these and all my other lovely reviewers.  I’m both humbled and gratified.   Keep them coming, guys.  The less than glowing reviews are also appreciated but won’t get top billing here. 🙂

Came here through the amazon discussion “FREE Books and Chat – Monday, March 5, 2012” The way you describe yourself, Beth (Historical & Light Paranormal Romance Author, avid gardener, mom, grandma, farm wife. 8. Now that I finally have a Kindle I can read all the eBooks I have been squirreling away. At the moment I find myself drawn to time travel romances especially if they have the Highlands in them. So SOMEWHERE MY LASS sounds like one I would truly enjoy.

  9. Hi Beth,
These books sound great, I love reading a lot of genres of romance, but I really like time travel and anything that takes place in Scotland.

  11. Hi Beth! I so remember SOMEWHERE MY LOVE when it came out! I so going to read again! I didn’t realize that there was the next out! So would love to be in the contest. I’m checking on anything I missed of yours.Everytime I read a Time Travel, its totally unique and so never know what to expect so the anticipation of that makes it even funner (and too, more emotional) to read. Historical romances are so always a comfort for me, I grab at least one a week to read so I read those and paranormals the most. I love the bits I learn when I read too! Thanks for the tibits! I’m excited about SOMEWHERE MY LASS.
