Several Reader Reviews for Somewhere My Lass

A delightful romp through time and ‘place’ with characters that are guaranteed to touch your heart. Mora..a gutsy ‘to to’ gal; considering she has been thrust into the 21st century! And Neil…a pragmatic man until he comes face to face with the past. Add to this, the charmingly adorable geek.. *and I do have a weakness for Geeks*.. Fergus. All combined makes for a wonderful story involving murder, mystery, romance and a touch of whimsy. ~Deb Sypeck

This is a very fast paced story that keeps you hanging on the edge of your seat wondering what in the world the author is going to come up with next. She takes us on an amazing journey thru time with such descriptions that make you feel like you’re right there. It is so hard to label this story just a romance novel because it is so much more. You have time travel, romance, murder, suspense, and if that’s not enough to keep you interested she also throws in a story about true friendship. This is a second in a series but this story totally stands alone. This is the first of Mrs. Trissel’s work that I have had the pleasure to read but it certainly won’t be the last. If you’re looking for a book whose characters you will remember long after you read the last page then this is the book for you. ~ Brenda Casto

SOMEWHERE MY LASS is a tale of soul mates separated by time, renewal, redemption, and timeless love. Throw in mystery, intrigue, and suspense and Beth Trissel has another winner! I not only loved the heroine and hero, but the secondary characters as well–especially Fergus. This book has something for every reader. ~ Carolyn Smith

Somewhere My Lass is a wonderful story, with compelling characters, a fiery heroine and a brave and dashing hero. It hooked me from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down. I definitely want more of the Somewhere series. ~ S. B. Banks
